It's a bit of a relief when Sylvia makes up her mind about the Bond, which Akechi isn't expecting from himself... but he's known and been in regular contact with her for a few months now. He wouldn't say they're close, but he still prefers to see her in good health than not.
So he waits for her outside the Coven, feeling more relaxed than he would have otherwise, and more relaxed than when he came here with Akira. He even smiles when he sees her approach, lifting his hand in a wave. ]

[ she laughs a little. she's teasing, but if that really is the case, she's happy with that. she seems really impressed by the quality of the tools in here, too. weapon maintenance is something she did back at home for her own gear -- granted, her gauntlets here are something she's still learning how to take care of, but she doesn't doubt she'll be able to with all of this. and if she learns how to use a sword, this'll be doubly useful!
the gift she gave to akechi is an assortment of black tea. they have different flavors to them, mostly fruit, but it shows that she's been observant of his preferences. ]
